A Supportive, Body-Inclusive Gravel Weekend Adventure

SBT GRVL is a world-class gravel race and multi-day event held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. For these few days, the Steamboat community is filled with cyclists from all over the world, industry professionals, and advocacy groups. The gravel roads surrounding town transform into arteries pumping excitement and camaraderie, culminating in an unforgettable gravel experience on two wheels.

The Program

All Bodies on Bikes + SBT GRVL have teamed up to bring 10 non-traditional athletes to SBT GRVL 2024 for the ride of their lives, focused on joyful movement and fun! 

Applications for the program open on Sunday, October 15th and close Tuesday, October 31st.

Selected participants will receive:

  • A Fully Comped Registration for SBT GRVL 2024 for the distance of your choice (37, 60, 100, or 142 miles)

  • A supportive cohort model with the other All Bodies on Bikes athletes and alumni, including co-founders Marley Blonsky and Kailey Kornhauser

  • Monthly mentoring calls leading up to SBT GRVL with professional cycling coaches, gravel biking champions, endurance event veterans, and the team behind SBT GRVL to make sure you’re as prepared as possible  

  • Optional group housing in Steamboat during the weekend of the event

  • Swag from our generous sponsors.

Who can Apply to Participate?

Applications are open to anyone of any age (21+), gender, race, body size, or ability level. We especially welcome newer and inexperienced racers who are looking for a supportive space to take on a new challenge.

While we do not provide funds to cover travel, we will be seeking sponsors to subsidize our lodging in Steamboat,

We’re not going to sugarcoat it: SBT GRVL is a challenging event. The ride takes place at 7,000 feet of elevation in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. You will need to train for this event, regardless of which distance you choose to participate in. 

Experience as a gravel cyclist is NOT a requirement, however, having some background/experience on bikes will be helpful. If you are BRAND NEW to cycling, please explain to us in your application how you plan to prepare for this event.

All applicants must complete an application, as well as submit a 2-3 minute video introducing themselves and answering the following questions:

  1. What does All Bodies on Bikes mean to you? 

  2. What is your relationship to your body? 

  3. How could you bring this experience back to your community?
